The Quarter Project: Who are We?

Our framework

It Starts With One Experiment. It Becomes a Lifetime of Possibilities.

A girl successfully programs her first robot. A student realizes chemistry is actually fun. A quiet voice speaks up with a brilliant idea because, for the first time, she knows it will be heard.

These small moments? They're everything.

At The Quarter Project, we create spaces where these transformative moments happen every week. Our classes are completely free for underrepresented students, particularly young women and girls who need them most. Our college student mentors make STEM accessible, exciting, and welcoming, proving through their own presence that diverse faces belong in science.

We're not just running after-school programs. We're planting seeds of confidence that grow into careers, leadership, and innovation.

One experiment at a time. One student at a time. One breakthrough at a time.

Women are:

  • Under-represented in high-paying occupations
  • Payed less from day 1
  • Promoted at slower rates than their male colleagues
